Dimora del Vico
Monopoli (IT)
2023
In the heart of Monopoli’s old town, a renowned seaside destination, the renovation project of the Dimora del Vico has breathed new life into a historic building, transforming it into a refined residence for high-end hospitality.
The intervention preserved and enhanced the Mediterranean architectural character, removing incongruous layers and uncovering the authenticity of the original façade, previously covered with a travertine cladding. The integration of high-performance fixtures and an advanced VRF climate control system ensured maximum living comfort with optimized energy efficiency.
The interiors, meticulously designed, combine craftsmanship with contemporary design: custom-made furnishings crafted from local materials interact with vaulted ceilings and captivating sea views, creating an exclusive atmosphere.
The design approach involved a complete redevelopment of the property, including the full refurbishment of all systems to meet the highest hospitality standards. The use of BIM methodology allowed for a detailed analysis of costs and execution phases, minimizing critical issues and optimizing time and resources. The integrated modeling of architectural, structural, and plant disciplines ensured flawless coordination, preventing interference between building elements and delivering results aligned with the highest expectations. On this occasion, the logo and full branding for the new venture were created, in harmony with the project concept, for a more effective brand perception.
Dimora del Vico thus stands as a perfect balance between history, innovation, and luxury, offering an authentic and sophisticated hospitality experience.
