The design of the pedestrian and cycling bridge is part of a broader study aimed at evaluating the infrastructure’s impact on the urban and landscape context, with particular attention to balancing functionality, aesthetics, and sustainability.

The structure stands out for its metal box-girder design, featuring an architectural approach that integrates the railing into the main body’s geometry, providing formal continuity and elegance. A distinctive element is the structural arch, from which a series of stays radiate to distribute loads, ensuring both visual lightness and structural solidity for the pedestrian and cycling walkway.

Special attention was given to material selection and structural weight optimization to minimize environmental impact and accommodate a wide free span between supports. The bridge is further enhanced by an integrated LED lighting system, with light points embedded in both the walkway and handrails, ensuring user safety and comfort. An elegant luminous strip running along the arch’s spine emphasizes the modern design of the bridge, promoting its harmonious integration into the surrounding urban landscape.
